True Rebel

It's Hoedown time again. This week's challenge is to use Rebel with the sentiment by Hambo Stamps to "stitch" up a card. You can use real, faux or hand stitching. Since I've never sewn on a card before, I decided dig out the sewing machine and try it. It was easy. I kept it simple for my first try, just a straight stitch for a border.  I think I'm ready to try a zigzag stitch next time!

The layout was inspired by a card designed by my very talented friend my Amanda Wayer. I sponged the oval and Rebel's uniform. Then I  added just a hint of color with my Copics.

Come join the fun at the Hoedown. Let's see what you can "stitch" up.
