It's Hambo Hoedown time again. Challenge #17 is to use Moonscape and any other Hambo image you would like (or none) and as an option add texture. I used the Floating Pig - digi with the Moonscape digi to create my card. I added texture with my Stars EB folder and some silver star sequins. I was trying to give the impression of looking through a telescope. What do you think?

Funny Anniversary
Bugaboo Digital Stamps has some very funny images and right now they are having a 50% off sale. Here's a card I made for my brother and sister-in-law for their anniversary next week. I just love Gus and Stella.

Tons of Fun
Hambo Hoedown challenge# 16 was to use SUMO-digi by Hambo Stamps and one of the sentiments to create a project that included chipboard. I gave my guy a little bulk by mounting him on chipboard and with a chipboard button made to match the circle in the paper. Since he didn't look like the frilly ribbon type, I frayed the ribbon and tied it onto the button.
If you want to play along, hope on over to the Hoedown. It's tons of fun!

Hamming It Up at the Movies
Welcome to Hambo Stamp's "Hamming It Up At the Movies". Today Hambo customers and the Bacon Bits Design Team are bringing you fun creations that depict movie titles. It might be a favorite movie, or just one that was fun to design. If you arrived here from Silke's blog you are in the right place. If not, hop back to the Hambo blog to make sure you are eligible for the hopper prize!
Yea! Prizes - one for the participant whose movie-themed creation tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy in a hammin’ jammin’ way and another randomly to a hopper who comments on all the blogs along the way. Winners will be announced on the Hoedown blog, and the Hambo company blog, Talk to the Ham, on Wednesday, May 25.
Here's my card. Can you guess the movie? Hint Gene Wilder.
Hambo's Mad Scientist digi reminds me of Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein especially with the wiggle eyes. It's one of my favorite movies and this was a fun card to design!
Hope you enjoyed my movie card. Now dance on over to Libby's blog for another great movie scene!

Skater Boy Birthday
This week's Designed2Delight image for the progressive challenge is this cute Skater Boy. I combined this challenge with the DYSU challenge #18 to use a tag and made this card. I think it's perfect for a boy's birthday.

What's Up?
Hambo Stamps' Hoedown challenge! Challenge #15 is to use BOLD, BRIGHT COLORS and paper piecing with the very cute Balloon Girl - digi. I envisioned her flying in a very bright blue sky over bright green fields of flowers . So here she is...
I layered and popped up the green to give the fields a little dimension and then added some punched flowers. I used some of my favorite SU Rainbow Sherbert DP for the sky and to paper piece the balloon. Doesn't she look like she's having fun?

More Springtime Smiles
The beautiful weather we've had in Maryland this week has inspired me to make a few more seed pocket cards for some of my friends...so easy and fun to make.

Springtime Smiles
It’s the first challenge of the month, so Designed2Delight has a free image for their progressive challenge for May. Each week that you play you get a new image the following week. This cute Pail of Flowers image made me think of spring and planting flowers in the garden, so I made a pocket card that holds a packet of seeds. I'm also entering my seed pocket into DYSU's Challenge #18, make something using purple. It was fun and easy to make. I think I'll make a few more for some friends that I'm meeting for dinner this week.
If you want to play along in either of these challenges, hop over to DYSU and/or Designed2Delight and join the fun.
Dots & Stripes
Last week I made a card for the Hambo Hoedown challenge but I missed the deadline for posting it (see my card in the previous post). The challenge for this week is to make a project using a Hambo Stamp's image and dots and stripes. I used the cute Heart Basket - digi again with some glittery paper and dotted ribbon. Here's my card...
It's great to be dancing at the Hoedown again!!

I Goofed!!
Yesterday afternoon I finished my card for Hambo Stamps Challenge13 but didn't have time to photograph and post it before I went out for the evening. No problem. I'll do it when I get home after I watch the Good Wife (love this show). I'll have an hour! Wrong! Ten o'clock central time is 11 o'clock eastern time not 12! Oh well ...here is my card anyway. The challenge was to use Heart Basket - digi to make a girlie card with flowers and lace. I like how it turned out even though it didn't get submitted for the challenge.
