Another Bombshell!
Loving my Bombshell set. Here's a card I made for Bombshell Stamps monthly challenge to be WILD! The challenge is to use some ANIMAL PRINT along with the lovely Bombshell girls. When I saw this pink leopard print DSP I knew it was perfect for a Bombshell Beauty. So here's my take on the challenge...
What a fun challenge! I have an anniversary coming up in August...42 years! I think this will be one of my hubby's cards.

Feeling 'Ruff'?
Another adorable image from Hambo stamps! This week the challenge is to use Doghouse Blues digi by Hambo Stamps to create a project that incorporates a dog bone or dog tag. If you are using another Hambo image, you are required to use a metal charm on your project. I have been wanting to try the center step card and decided that this was a good opportunity. SCS has a good tutorial along with a video which was very helpful since I'm a visual learner. After watching the video a few times, here's what I came up with...
Can you find the bone/bones on my card? LOL! I used an old scrapbooking template to make the big bone! It's a good thing I rarely throw anything away. Afterall I might need it sometime!
This digi also comes with another sentiment...I Miss You.
Be sure to hop over to the Hambo Hoedown and check out what the other Bacon Bites have created. Then join the Hoedown and share your creation.
I also posted this card for the Get Well challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar.

First Bombshell Card!
My friend Mary is a Bombshell girl! She designs for Bombshell Stamps. I've been admiring her creations for quite awhile and finally bought some Bombshell Stamps of my own! So here's my first Bombshell card. I made it for the June Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch...
Here's my card...
This image is a small stamp that is part of the set Rise & Shine. IMHO it is perfect for this sketch. I used a woodgrain DSP and brads to make it look like a porthole. Check out Bombshell Stamps for some retro and vintage images.
Here's my card...

Oink! Oink!
It's Hoedown time again! I love making cards for the weekly challenges at the Hambo Hoedown. If you haven't joined in, you're missing all the fun and free digi stamps!
This week's challenge is to use the Pig Inmate digi by Hambo Stamps to create a birthday card, but ribbon is not allowed. You can use twine, string, thread or fibers but NO RIBBON! Here's my no ribbon card...

This is such a fun image and the sentiment just had to have an OINK! OINK! to go with it!
I think I'll finish the inside with Go Hog Wild!
Hop on over to the Hoedown and see what fun projects the other Bacon Bits made. Play along with us. Can't wait to see what you create.

HaHa Birthday
This week's Hambo Hoedown Challenge is a color challenge...red, teal and either kraft, white or ivory along with Laughing digi. I printed the digi image in a larger size once and twice in a smaller size. I put them together in my design to make a larger crowd of laughing people! Here's how it turned out...
Here's a close-up of the image. It's hard to see their sparkly teeth. I colored them with a glaze pen...very cool IRL!
Come on over to the Hoedown and join in the challenge. You'll have a fun time.

Secret Sister Happy Mail
The Meade Girls have exchanged names for Secret Sisters and a week ago I got my first piece of Happy mail from my new Secret Sister! I finally took a picture of it. It's a sweet card with the cutest dog image. I love the bright colors. Thank you Secret Sister. You brightened my day.

Jimmy's Tie?
If Jimmy Buffet wore a tie, I think it would look like this...
This week's Hambo Hoedown Challenge is to use one of the ties in Hambo's Three Ties digi and the provided card sketch to make a guy card . I'm a Jimmy Buffet fan and tropical tie looked made for Jimmy! Wouldn't this be a perfect retirement card. Here's the inside...
Come on over and party at the Hoedown. Afterall, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Ooh la la!
My friend and stamping buddy Rose posted a Maxine cartoon on her FB page where Maxine said Girls Night Out meant not wearing a bra! It made me giggle. Well then someone suggested that maybe the Meade Girls should go braless to the next Girl's Day Out! I thought of this Bugaloo image Stella Tidbits - Braless that I had recently purchased and made Rose this card...
I found the DSP at Michael's. Isn't it perfect for this image? I heard from Rose and she said it made her laugh. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Rose.

The Secret's Out!
I'm a Bacon Bit!! I'm so excited and honored to be a member of Hambo Stamps Design Team. I'll be working mainly with Hambo's digital stamps. I've been playing along with the Hambo Hoedown challenges and I love their images. They are so much fun to use.
Hambo Stamps has some wonderful new images of kids that we are sharing with you today! If you played along with the challenge last week you received one of the new kid images free for this week's challenge. All of the new images are available in the Digi Store HERE.
While the free image offered is just one of the images, in order to showcase all of the them, each DT member received a different one to use. Mine were the Apple Hambo Stamps. What a cute apple image! The challenge was to use the images and buttons on your project. I decided to alter a wooden frame that I got at Michael's. I love how it turned out! Here it is without a photo...
Be sure to check out the other awesome projects created by The Bacon Bits and come join in the Hoedown.
